Last month, Ben (my boyfriend - yes, it still feels odd saying that) and I enjoyed a 7-course woodfire omakase dinner at The Social Outcast, a hidden 12-seater gem tucked away at 89 East Coast Road, Singapore 428790 (inside Madman & Co.).
Walking through the tiny door into the intimate dining space felt like stepping into Wonderland - a whimsical start to a culinary journey.
From the smoky Hawaii Ahi Ribs (my personal favourite) to the flavourful Mexican Huevos Divorciados (Ben's top pick), each dish was a masterpiece. Not every dish was my cup of tea (peeling crabs is not my thing), but the overall experience was unforgettable.
What made it even more special was that Ben and I turned this evening into a creative project for our newly started Creative Studio. We storyboarded, filmed, and edited a visual recap of the experience - a perfect blend of food and storytelling.
