Guess who designed my first home?

I didn't know what I wanted.

I'm finally designing my first home - a resale HDB with Ben.
This isn't an investment flat. This is our space. Our real first home.

But here's the confession:
When the IDs started asking about concept, mood boards, and style references...
I went blank.

What did I want?
I didn't know. It was my first time doing this.
And honestly? I felt a little stupid for not having the answers.

But the truth is, this isn't common sense. Not everyone is born with interior design instincts.
So instead of faking it, I turned to someone who does know me inside out: Seraphina.

Yup, I asked my AI twin to guide me through it.

Discovery process

I didn't even know the right questions to ask - but Seraphina did.

She walked me through it gently (unlike the IDs who made it sound like I should know).
We built a Pinterest board together. And as we played with references, I got inspired.

At first, I wanted a loft. Then reality hit: HDB ceilings are not loft-friendly.
So we pivoted - platform it is. And honestly? I love it more now.

Numbers

🏠 Our HDB unit is about 900+ sqft - just enough room for us to breathe.
💰 We received ~$80K in grants (know your grants, folks).
🛠️ Our first design concept came in at ~$80K, too.

Now that we've pivoted away from the loft, I'm waiting on a revised quote before locking in the ID.
