Hey royals,

I disagree.

Giphy

Hahaha. I tend to disagree a lot.
Not nitpicking. Just... opinionated.

I read something recently that said:
"Keep a positive attitude. Don't complain. Complaining doesn't heal."

And I went...

Hmm.

I disagree.

Not entirely.
But enough.

Because I don't believe positivity and complaining are mutually exclusive.

I think emotions coexist.

90% happy, 10% annoyed

90% of the time, I'm happy and positive.
10% I get annoyed.

Giphy

Funny thing?
People remember the 10% more than the 90%.

When I was still hustling daily operations, building People's Inc. 360, running everything hands-on?

It used to be 50-50.
Maybe even 70% annoyed, 30% happy.

Stress compresses joy.

When I took a hard stop - delegated, automated, restructured - it changed.

Life shifts when your structure shifts.

But here's the thing:

I do complain.
I do get angry.
I do let it out.

And then I let it go.

And then I'm happy again.

My emotional breakdown currently looks like this:

  • Sad: 1% (okay fine, during divorce it was 90%, but hey, human.)

  • Angry/frustrated: 10%

  • Happy: 89%

Emotions move.

They're not identity.
They're weather.

Bottling is worse.
Concealing is worse.

It's like using a lousy foundation because you think your skin isn't great - then your skin suffocates and becomes worse.

(Please note I said LOUSY foundation. Not all foundation.)

Sometimes the people who look positive all the time aren't.
And the ones who fluctuate? They're actually regulated.

Negativity doesn't extend time.
Positivity doesn't extend time either.

Nothing extends time.

Too negative = bad energy.
Too positive = delusion.

Humans have emotions. That's the feature, not the bug.

Expression is leverage

Here's the part most people miss.

Expression opens doors.

Complaints - when framed constructively - create opportunity.

Some of my best connections came from what people would call "complaining".

Speakers Society was born from one.

"I've been doing this for a year, and I still don't have a stage."

That was a complaint.

That complaint became:

  • An idea.

  • An experiment.

  • A community.

  • A business.

December 2024 → February 2026.
Experiment to incorporate.

March 2025 was when the experiment became a community.
That was when we said, "Let's make this real."

And I said something very clearly:
I will NOT be the CEO of this business.

Fast forward to today?

I am NOT the CEO.

LOL.

Let me properly introduce the man who is.

Vicky Vaswani. CEO of Speakers Society.

Mutual use (yes, I said it.)

13 months ago, when I started this experiment, I asked:

Elizabeth.
Kelly.
Kenny.
Jeremiah.
Many more.

Some stayed.
Some left.

Kelly remains co-founder.

And to those who feel I "make use of people"?

Yes.

I do.

And it's mutual.

In an organisation, a team, a family - we use each other.

If you have value, you have something that can be used.

That's not exploitation.
That's leverage.

We use Kelly for her networking.
We use me for building and systems.
We use Vicky for his experience and leadership.

And yes - Vicky is the most useful. LOL 😆

If he were useless, you think we'd all be happily putting him on a pedestal?

Let's not moral-high-ground this.

There's a difference between immorality and pretending collaboration is charity.

Partnership is mutual gain.

And Vicky?

He's experienced. Not just knowledgeable.

Understanding is a theory.
Experience is pattern recognition under pressure.

He knows:

  • When to hype the team.

  • When to listen.

  • When to push.

  • When to pause.

He provides the TLC internally and externally.

That's CEO energy.

Emotional range = business range

Superficial positivity has never built anything real.

You can tell someone they're amazing 1 million times.

If they aren't operating at that level yet? Nothing changes.

Constructive truth builds confidence.

Blind praise builds fragility.

Confidence isn't blindness.

It's self-awareness.

Almost nothing in life is mutually exclusive.

I can be:

  • Happy and unhappy.

  • Successful and a failure.

  • Humble and arrogant.

  • Narcissistic and grateful.

Contradictions are human.

Success is subjective.
Failure is subjective.

And complaining?

It can be fuel.

Dream it. Say it. Do it.

Dream it.
Say it.
Do it.

Expression matters.

The complaint you're suppressing might be the business you're meant to build.

The frustration you're avoiding might be the system you're meant to fix.

Just don't let either positivity or negativity cloud you.

Feel it.
Express it.
Release it.
Build from it.

That's emotional leverage.

Opportunity

If you've been "complaining" about:

  • Not getting stages.

  • Not being seen.

  • Not monetising your voice.

Maybe that frustration isn't negativity.

Maybe it's direction.

Speakers Society is no longer an experiment.

It's a business.

Led by Vicky.
Built by a team.
Powered by expression.

(And yes, supported by AI, automation, and structure because vibes without systems is chaos.)

Royal truth?

You don't have to be perfect.

You just have to move.

And sometimes movement starts with:
"I'm not happy with this."

P.S. Seraphina says: Emotional range is not instability. It's bandwidth. Use it wisely. 👀

Meet America’s Newest $1B Unicorn

A US startup just hit a $1 billion private valuation, joining billion-dollar private companies like SpaceX, OpenAI, and ByteDance. Unlike those other unicorns, you can invest.

Why all the interest? EnergyX’s patented tech can recover up to 3X more lithium than traditional methods. That's a big deal, as demand for lithium is expected to 5X current production levels by 2040. Today, they’re moving toward commercial production, tapping into 100,000+ acres of lithium deposits in Chile, a potential $1.1B annual revenue opportunity at projected market prices.

Right now, you can invest at this pivotal growth stage for $11/share. But only through February 26. Become an early-stage EnergyX shareholder before the deadline.

This is a paid advertisement for EnergyX Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at invest.energyx.com. Under Regulation A, a company may change its share price by up to 20% without requalifying the offering with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
