You know how some days are meant to be just another workday?

Yeah... this wasn't one of them.

It started off perfectly - I was invited to Meta Singapore. It was everything you'd imagine: sleek, inspiring, future-focused.
I left feeling hopeful, starry-eyed even, dreaming about possible collaborations.

Fast forward to the evening: I was set to speak at PechaKucha Singapore, my first-ever 20x20 format talk (20 slides, 20 seconds each).
All timed, checked, and ready... until life threw a curveball.

Just as I hopped into my Grab, I realised I forgot something.
I politely told the driver, "Give me a sec!" - turned around - and bam, the door shut behind me, and the car drove off.

With my bag.
With my phone.
Gone.

😳

I stood there, stunned. But here's the thing: I stayed calm.

Thanks to my iPad (hello, Telegram), my team, my boyfriend, and a lot of frantic messaging, we tracked down the driver.
And just like a miracle - at 7pm sharp - he came back, bag intact, phone in hand.

And guess what?
I made it to the event.
I spoke.
And I even turned the whole chaotic adventure into part of my speech.
