Politics

I love building things.

In partnership with

Hey royals,

I've never liked politics.

I love building things - platforms, stories, systems, communities. But politics? That's noise. That's ego. And most of the time, it shows up after someone's already stepped up to do the work.

Recently, I was invited to host a programme. It aligned perfectly with something I'd been meaning to start for a while, so I said yes. I planned everything. Got internal approvals. Built the system. Created the workflows. Designed the outreach. Checked the boxes.

And then... the resistance rolled in.

First came the questions:

  • "Is this official?"

  • "Shouldn't we wait until some internal milestone before announcing anything?"

If you've ever built inside a community, especially one with structure, you've probably seen this movie before.

You take initiative. You move fast. You create opportunities for others.

Then someone who hasn't lifted a finger suddenly becomes very concerned about procedure.

Sigh.

💭 Politics vs. purpose

The thing about politics? It rarely builds anything.

It stalls. It questions. It creates hesitation where momentum should live.

Real community-building requires trust. Clear intention. Open communication.

And maybe most importantly - action.

I've always believed in sharing what I know. Not to overextend. But if I can save someone else time, I will. I'm not here to gatekeep. I'm here to grow.

🎙 Strategy: Hosting with intention (and a little AI magic)

Let's switch gears.

That programme I was invited to host? It was a podcast series. And truthfully, I've been meaning to start one for the longest time - I just never felt the push.

This was it.

Once I committed, I built everything from scratch (with a lot of help from Seraphina, my AI twin):

  • 🗂 Booking system with prefilled agenda instructions.

  • 🧠 Personalised guest briefs using templates + AI touch.

  • 🎥 Content pipeline from long-form to short-form repurposing.

  • ✍️ Approval flows so guests feel represented, not just featured.

It's a lot. And if we had waited until a "term officially began" before starting, none of this would've launched in time. Quality takes time. Great content requires care. And planning ahead is part of the job.

So here's the good news...

I'm putting together a full "How to host a podcast" guide - with all the systems, templates, and tools I use to keep things running smoothly and professionally. Whether you're a creator, a brand, or a community leader, it's coming your way soon. 💡

It needs more bridge-builders.

Politics might get the spotlight. But it's the people who do the work who leave the legacy.

And I don't know about you, but I've always preferred to build.
