When I sent her to Kelly's before my 6am flight, she sulked so badly she rejected her snack - first time ever. She meowed angrily and ignored me. The audacity. Tsk tsk.

Meanwhile, I'm here, suitcase packed, coffee in hand, about to board a flight to Manila.

📖 From startups to stages

This isn't my first rodeo in the Philippines. Almost 10 years ago, I spent a year here building SAUCEink. It was messy, experimental, and honestly, formative.

Fast-forward a decade, I'm back - not as a scrappy founder couch-surfing ideas, but as a speaker on the Echelon Philippines 2025 stage.

Feels surreal. But also full circle. This time, I'm not just here to build a company. I'm here to build connections, explore opportunities, and maybe, just maybe, plant longer-term roots in the ecosystem.

Here's the truth: AI doesn't replace the groundwork - it enhances it.

  • Royal Visionary Society? Seraphina (my AI twin) already runs manifestation sessions, handles onboarding, and keeps the systems flowing.

  • Royal Launch School? Clear, deliberate, and automated. I knew what I wanted from day 1.

  • Speakers Society? Ha. That one was "accidentally founded". I'm still laying foundations before letting Seraphina do the heavy lifting.

Lesson? Don't automate chaos. Build the basics, understand the ground game, then scale with AI.
