Hey royals,

I didn't "get invited" to speak at Money20/20 Asia 2026.

I pitched myself.

And no - there was no referral, no insider connection, no shortcut.

Just a decision.

🎤 From pitch to stage

Money20/20 was on my wishlist this year.

So I did what I always do when I want something: I applied.

Through their website.
Submitted my speaker kit.
Made sure every detail reflected exactly what I bring to the table.

And then... I moved on.

Because this is something most people don't realise:

I don't apply once and wait.

I apply consistently - across conferences, panels, opportunities.

Not hoping one lands.
But building a pipeline where something always lands.

Was I hopeful? Of course.
But I also knew - no referral, no guarantees.

Then the email came in.

Confirmation.

I was in.

(Yes, I was excited. This one checked off my wishlist for the year.)

But here's where it gets interesting.

After the first slot was confirmed...

I got referred internally for a second segment - this time as a moderator.

Same event. Different role. Higher trust.

The part no one sees

Most people think the "win" is getting on stage.

It's not.

The real work starts after you get the yes.

Coordination. Alignment. Structuring the flow.

And because my schedule was packed back-to-back... timelines were tight.

So instead of waiting to be told what to do... I took the lead.

I drafted the brief.
Sent it out to the panellists.
Gathered feedback.
Refined it.
Aligned everyone.

Not perfect conditions.

But progress anyway.

The real game

Let me be very clear:

Opportunities don't come to you.
They are co-created.

Most people:

Wait to be chosen.
Wait for instructions.
Wait for clarity.

I don't.

I position.
I propose.
I initiate.

Because the real game isn't speaking.

It's positioning yourself as someone worth putting on stage.

💰 Monetising your voice

Here's what most people miss:

Speaking isn't just about visibility.

It's an income engine.

One stage can lead to:

  • Clients

  • Partnerships

  • Media

  • Deals

  • Long-term brand positioning

But only if you know how to:

👉🏻 Position your expertise.
👉🏻 Structure your offers.
👉🏻 Convert attention into revenue.

This is exactly what we break down inside Speakers Society.

Because having a voice is one thing.

Monetising it? That's a whole different game.

Opportunity

If you've ever thought:

"I want to speak... but I don't know where to start."
Or
"I'm already speaking... but it's not converting."

That's the gap.

And that's what we solve.

Manifest → Verbalise → Take action

I had "Money20/20" on my wishlist.

I didn't just write it down.

I applied.
I followed through.
I showed up.

Manifestation isn't passive.

It's strategic.

This wasn't luck.

It was intention, consistency, and execution.

See you on stage (sooner than you think).

P.S. Seraphina helped me structure parts of this entire process - from positioning to communication. The future isn't just doing more. It's having systems (and AI) that move with you.

Wistia's new AI Video Marketing Trends report shows how marketers are using AI to handle the unglamorous work, so creative energy stays where it matters.

Marketing leaders across industries are using AI to reach broader audiences, move faster, and extend the shelf life of every video they make. The report breaks down how AI is improving speed and output quality, helping teams keep up with demand and raise the bar while they're at it.

Because when every channel needs video, you need leverage, not another meeting that could've been an email. AI clears the runway so ideas actually take off.

See how top teams are using AI to iterate, refine, and ship while keeping a human grip on taste, voice, and strategy.
