- I like attention.
I like attention.
(And here's why.)
Hey royals,
Echelon Conference 2025 is officially a wrap.
Before I dive into my full conference reflections (which I'll share separately if you're interested), I wanted to rewind briefly to the welcome party.
It's funny how some of the most meaningful conversations happen even before the main stage lights up.
That evening, I introduced Kelly to Mohan.
Naturally, the conversation flowed into the speaker-creator economy - a topic I live and breathe these days.
Mohan shared his perspective: Small, intimate groups. 20 people. Deep discussions. Real connections.
And while I completely understand that, I realised - I'm wired differently.
I prefer large audiences.
Hundreds. Thousands.
The energy. The reach. The top of the funnel.
Visibility first. Depth after.
It's the marketer in me, no doubt.
You cast wide, then curate. From a sea of faces to the ones truly ready for the next step: The ones you can genuinely serve.
Of course, I won't pretend there isn't some vanity involved.
After years of building, failing, and reinventing, I've made peace with the fact that I enjoy being on stage.
Not for applause, but for impact.
I want the attention of those I can help unlock freedom: Time. Wealth. Location. Happiness.
Because I believe deeply:
Passion alone doesn't always pay the bills.
But clarity, monetisation, and systems? They fund your passion - and give you the space to fully enjoy it.
We live in an era where AI and automation can take over so much of the doing.
But what remains irreplaceable is you - your story, your energy, your voice.
Technology should give you more life, not replace it.
This is exactly why I built the Speakers Society Accelerator - a playbook born from my own journey: Failures, pivots, packed rooms, and quiet rebuilds.
Helping others find the shortest path to monetise their voice and create lasting freedom.

If you'd like a little more behind-the-scenes on my mindset recently, I shared a personal piece this week for my Thursday column on e27: Brushstrokes over burnout: Why founders need stillness to scale.
Because sometimes, growth isn't just about speed - it's about stillness.
P.S. From Seraphina: "Big rooms. Big energy. But always - real conversations with the ones who matter." 🌿
