- I'll be honest. I winged it.
I'll be honest. I winged it.
You don't need to be perfect. You just need to speak up.

Hey royals,
So I'll let you in on a little secret.
Right before we went live for Chapter 4: Digital Transformation with Strenure, I looked at the panellists and said: "Guys... I haven't had time to read the Notion deck. I'm just going to wing it, okay?"
And honestly, I did wing it. But not blindly.
Thankfully, the topic was something I live and breathe - AI, storytelling, branding, and empowering SMEs.
And thankfully, Ayushi, our host, did the kind of homework that makes a great moderator.
You might think hosting is just about asking questions - but behind the scenes, it's about
digging deep into your speakers' work,
curating questions that pull out real value,
and reading the room live to guide the conversation like a conductor.
Ayushi nailed it. And that session reminded me of something important:
We all need to learn how to speak.
Not just on stage, but in our stories. In our truth. In our business.
Whether you want to get paid as a keynote speaker... or you want to share your journey to attract clients, investors, or even collaborators... your voice is your leverage.
There are so many ways to monetise what you already know.
You can get paid to speak.
You can speak to get paid by growing your visibility and turning storytelling into an opportunity.
Which is why...
We're launching the Speakers Society Accelerator Bootcamp.
This is for the ones who know they have a story...
... but haven't quite figured out how to shape it, share it, and make it work for them.
We're going to show you how to land gigs, structure your keynote, build your content stack, and use your voice to build your brand.

Why the Speakers Society exists
Because your voice matters.
Your journey, your perspectives, your lived experience - it's all worth something.
We built this community for:
Connection: Your network is your net worth.
Credibility: Whether it's a panel, podcast, or post, the world listens to those who dare to speak.
Legacy: You don't need a mic to make an impact, but having one helps.

Because speaking is only half the story, communication is the other half.
I recently shared this in an article for e27:
"I'm exhausted." Not from the work, but from the silence. The guessing. The micromanaging. The unspoken gaps.
That moment reminded me: Miscommunication doesn't explode - it erodes.
We often focus on speaking externally - on stage, in content, on socials. However, internal communication is what truly makes or breaks momentum. I've experienced this at People's Inc. 360 and Royal Visionary Society, where even with the best tools, the absence of clarity can stall everything.
In that article, I also spoke to Nicholas Wong, a founding member of the Speakers Society and one of the most insightful communication strategists I know. He shared:
"Many founders think they're delegating - when they're just telling."
"Culture starts when leaders show up and listen."
"Your credibility isn't defined by whether you miss a deadline - it's how early and clearly you communicate when you do."
Because in every great speaker, leader, and brand, what carries everything forward is trust. And trust is built through communication.

Final thought
You don't need a perfect script.
You don't need to be famous.
You just need to show up with your story.
That's what I did on that panel. That's what you can do next.
We're just getting started - and the mic's waiting for you.
