Last weekend, we closed the curtains on Speakers Society Accelerator Cast 3 - and yesterday, I woke up to my birthday. 🎂
It feels poetic. Like the universe timed this moment to whisper, "You've grown."
Not just older - but deeper, wiser, more certain of the path we're walking together.
Because every cast reminds me of one thing:
Our voices can change our lives - if we dare to use them.
🌱 Growth, not perfection
When I started Speakers Society, it wasn't to create another "speaker training".
It was to create a home - a stage for voices that deserve to be heard, celebrated, and amplified.
Six months, three casts, a hundred speakers later...
I can tell you this isn't just a programme.
It's a movement.
One that transforms not just how people speak - but how they see themselves.
And as Andy Ng wrote so beautifully in his reflection on the programme:
"It's not just about stage presence - it's about thinking, acting, and growing like a Speaker CEO."
That line hit me hard. Because it's true - and it's exactly what this journey has been.
🔥 Conviction - the word of the year
If Cast 3 had a theme, it'd be conviction.
This round, I witnessed courage in motion - from speakers finding their story, to an ex-client returning to learn again (a full-circle moment that reminded me of grace and growth).
Conviction isn't about what you say.
It's about what you do - especially when no one's watching.
And as I saw these speakers bloom, I realised...
I'm growing right alongside them. 🌸
💎 Behind the curtain
Every cast teaches me something new.
This time, three lessons stood out:
1️⃣ Transparency builds trust. Sharing your full playbook doesn't make you replaceable - it makes you remarkable.
2️⃣ We're co-creators, not competitors. When we rise together, our voices carry farther.
3️⃣ Growth is infinite when hearts are open. Leadership is learning - again and again.
🎂 A birthday reflection
This birthday feels different.
Because for once, I'm not chasing time - I'm living it.
Sure, I still hate admin work (some things never change 😅).
But building this, watching people rise, seeing transformations happen in real time...
That's the kind of gift that no number can measure.
And yes - it's all worth it.
💬 My confession?
I've never been more certain that what we're building - together - matters.
Because this isn't about speaking.
It's about leading.
It's about turning voice into vision, and vision into freedom.
