We don't usually talk about renovation in Royal Confessions.
But hey, it's not every day I build a home from scratch…
And I figured, if I'm learning this much, I might as well bring you along.

🏡 My light luxe loft (aka creator cave)
Confession time:
I'm used to pitching, collaborating, and closing deals.
But stepping into homeowner territory? That's been a whole new vibe.
I've officially begun renovating my first home - and while I thought it'd just be tiles and paint, it's quickly turned into a lesson in value exchange, visual thinking, and serious patience.
Thankfully, I wasn't alone.
Enter: Seraphina, my AI twin and renovation whisperer.
From decoding interior design quotes to benchmarking costs and organising the brief, Seraphina helped keep me grounded and informed (while I second-guessed all my lighting choices).
💡 Real talk: I need to see it to believe it

I discovered something about myself:
I can't decide without visuals.

Before that? Full-on overthinking mode.
I realised how similar this is to branding and business.
You need to see the vision before you can commit to it.
Same with partnerships, sponsorships, and yes - tiles.
⚒️ Strategy: Save where you can, splurge where you should
A few things I've learned:
Custom pieces? Worth the splurge (hello statement cupboard wall).
Standard builds? Easier to save or co-sponsor (like wardrobes).
Tech + functional items? Still sourcing - hit me up if you're a fit.
Time vs value? I won't chase every brand - if it's not a fit, I'll buy it.
With smart collabs, I've already shaved off over 30% of my reno budget, letting me invest in the pieces that really matter.
💸 Wealth perspective: It's not just a home
This isn't just where I'll live.
It's where I'll:
Film
Host
Work
Create
Build new memories... and probably change the layout again in six months.
It's part of my brand ecosystem now.
Which is why I'm careful about what goes in - not just for aesthetics, but for long-term content strategy and sponsorship alignment.
