December was FUN.

Not grind-fun.
Not performative productivity fun.
Just pure creation energy.
I had ideas.
I felt inspired.
And instead of waiting for perfect conditions, I built.
Fast.
Building through vibe coding
💥 The trigger: Someone - not naming names, but we both know it was Vicky - kept hyping up a "young tech wiz with a multi-million-dollar system."
You know the type.
Subtle implications that I should buy it.
Because it was supposedly smarter, faster, better than anything I could create.
And my brain immediately went:
"Cute. Let me just build my own - this weekend - to confirm I'm not stupid."
Petty motivation? Absolutely.
Highly effective? Also yes.
That irritation was the shove I needed to stop waiting for the perfect team or setup - and just execute.
That's how Seraphina AI was born.
Here's the part that surprised even me:
Vibe coding is ridiculously easy.
It felt like talking to my developers - except I didn't need to touch syntax, write specs, or translate ideas endlessly. I just spoke. Adjusted. Built.
Once that mental block disappeared, everything accelerated.
Speed changes everything
When speed increases, fear shrinks.
December quietly became a build playground:
Seraphina AI - my second brain, externalised.
Hainan Culture - identity and long-game storytelling.
The CluBro Society - playful, experimental, intentionally unserious.
NextSelf AI Vision Board - because traditional vision boards felt outdated.
PetByU - the one that waited eight years.
There are more coming - a curated professional marketplace, a turn-based MMORPG, an AI advertising app - but I'm holding those back.
I've learned the hard way: Waitlists first, reveals later.
PetByU and Duchess 🐾
PetByU isn't a new idea.
I've wanted to build this for almost eight years.
But only after Duchess (my dog) passed on did I finally stop postponing it.
Some projects wait because they're not ready.
Some wait because you aren't.
At some point, I realised:
If I've already built so many systems... what's one more?
PetByU isn't about speed or scale.
It's about companionship, memory, and care - wrapped in tech.
Not everything you build has to be optimised.
Some things are built because they matter.
Why January matters
December was about building without restraint.
January is about direction.
