Silence

I turned it all off.

In partnership with

Hey royals,

Three weeks of no Reels, no carousels, no hashtags. Just... quiet.

I didn't plan it. I didn't even announce it.
I just disappeared - and guess what? Nothing changed.

My analytics dipped. My algorithm sulked.
But my peace of mind? Priceless.

Because sometimes, silence isn't a strategy. It's survival.

The trigger

If I'm honest, it didn't start from zen. It started with pain.
Someone I barely knew started spreading rumours - that I was manipulative, that I "used" people I care about.

One of them is Kelly.

I won't lie - that hurt.
Because the truth? Kelly isn't someone I "use". She's someone I trust.

I even joked and called her my minion once, to her face, with laughter.
Because to me, minions are capable, loyal, and a little chaotic in the best way.
We even celebrated with a minion cake once.

Only negative people see everything negatively.

To me, minion means family. It means "we're in this together".
And that's leadership - recognising strengths and celebrating them.

Reflection

These few weeks reminded me of one thing:

Titles mean nothing without execution.

I don't care what anyone calls me - CEO, founder, futurist - I care about what gets done.
Because everything I've built:

Exists because of execution, not ego.

And if people can't see that, that's okay.
Not everyone's meant to understand your path - some are just meant to watch.

Lesson

You don't lose relevance when you rest.
You lose yourself when you don't.

And sometimes, silence says more than social media ever could.
